Helirussia. May 2010 Avron Ltd took part in the helicopter industry exhibition Helirussia 2010, that took place in Moscow in Crocus Expo on May 20 -22. During the exhibition Avron Ltd presented the new amphibian airplanes L-42M Samara and Dornier CD-2 Seastar and also acted in cooperation with its partner Heliclub, presenting the new concept of the Anosino-2 heliport development.
The first Russian national exhibition in Chicago. November 2009. Avron Ltd and Aviatech Ltd took part as exhibitors in the first Russian national exhibition and business forum that took place from November 18 till November 21 in Chicago Il., USA. The exhibition was held in McCormick Place, the largest expo centre in Chicago and was supported by the mayor of Chicago R. Daley and by political and business elite of both coutries.
JetExpo. September 2009 Avron Ltd as the exclusive distributor for amphibian airplanes Dornier CD-2 Seastar and L-42 M «Samara» took part in the business aviation exhibition Jet Expo 2009, that took place from September 16 till September 18 in Crocus Expo center, Moscow.
Oshkosh 2009. Dornier CD-2 Seastar demo flight. August 2009. Right after Oshkosh Airventure 2009, on August 3, 2009 in Appleton airport the demonstration flight of the amphibian airplane Dornier Seastar took place. In the course of demo flight the Seastar took-off and landed on the water with the wave height about 1 meter. The representatives of AVRON ltd took part in the demo-flight and are glad to confirm that the Seastar has outstanding performance and meets in full all the characteristics stated by the manufacturer.
Avron Ltd and Aviatech Seaplane Co. The exclusive distribution agreement. June 2009. On June 1, 2009 Avron Ltd CEO R. Nikolyan and Aviatech Seaplane Co. CEO M. Schelochkov signed the exclusive distribution agreement according to which Aviatech Seaplane Co. entrusts to Avron Ltd rights to represent and sell the amphibian aircraft L42M Samara and to run marketing policy.
Bourget Airshow. June 2009. Bell 429 demo flight. AVRON ltd is appointed the official agent of Dornier Seaplane Company to represent the new Seastar over the territory of Russia, Kazahstan and Montenegro.
The agreement was signed during the Paris Airshow Le Bourget 2009.
The Dornier Seaplane Company manufactures the world’s most technologically advanced seaplane – The Dornier CD2 Seastar. The 12 passenger Seastar is an FAA/EASA certified amphibian. The executive version of the cabin that can accomodate 6 or 8 passengers is also available. Seastar’s all-composite construction is corrosion resistant and its two PT-6 turboprop engines are mounted in-line to provide an extra flight safety. The cruising speed of Seastar is 330 km/h with the range of 1700 km. R. Nikolyan, general director of AVRON ltd, is sure that the new Seastar will be in high demand thanks to its reliability and flexibility of operation.
Supersonic Business Jet Aerion for the client of Avron Ltd. May 2008. During the business aviation exhibition EBACE 2008, that took place in Geneve (Swizerland), Avron Ltd on behalf of its client ordered the Aerion Supersonic Business Jet. The certification of SBJ is scheduled for the end of 2014. This aircraft is going to be the sensation on the business aviation market. The SBJ cruising speed is 1600 km/h and range of flight is 7400 km. The Aerion SBJ can accomodate 8-12 passangers. Aerion Corp. has already received over 40 orders on this exclusive model.
Heliexpo. February 2008. Avron Ltd took part in the presentation of the First russian helicopter exhibition Helirussia, that was held during the HeliExpo 2008 exhibition, Houston, USA.
